The original idea and guiding principle of CapusAsyl is to use campus resources in work for and with migrants. Among other things, this is realized through the engagement of countless students in our projects, cooperation with academic professionals and the promotion of research on topics concerning refugees, asylum, and integration. At the same time, ordinary citizens of the Regensburg community also take part in our projects. The mixture of students and citizens enriches our project design, bolsters ties with the great community of Regensburg, and enables migrants and people of all ages to get to know one another.
